Ethics Code

The Journal Archivos de Neurociencias (Archives of Neurosciences) subscribes to ethics code for participants involved in the publication process (editors, editorial committee, authors and reviewers) established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and available at www. publicationethics.org. Likewise, it complies with the guidelines indicated by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

Plagiarism detection

All articles submitted for possible publication must be original and unpublished and must not be simultaneously submitted for publication in other journals or editorial bodies. All works received will be reviewed by software for  plagiarism detection and content similarity comparison.

All articles must be –at least– 20% original. That is, that at least 20% of the information is original in the field of knowledge, regardless of what is cited and duly referred.

Reasons for rejection

Lack of adherence to any of the statements in the Author Guidelines.
