Objective: To describe the demand for care for mental disorders in patients who received consultation during June to December 2021. Methods: Retrospective comparative study of the demand for care for mental disorders in a public psychiatric hospital during the second half of 2021 with that of 2019. Results. 5707 consultations were analysed, the reduction in demand was greater than 50% compared to 2019 (p=0.009), the demand for substance use disorders, depression and anxiety increased by 208%, 275% and 485% compared to 2019. Conclusions.
