About the Journal
Archivos de Neurociencias (Archives of Neuroscience; ISSN 1028-5938) is a scientific journal that publishes quarterly. Its main objective is the spread of topics of interest in basic, translational and clinical Neurosciences in different editorial formats such as original articles, short articles, systematic reviews. Said research is put through a double-blinded peer-review process of national and international experts.
- Vision: Archivos de Neurociencias will be the prime peer-reviewed journal for research in the field of clinical and translational Neurosciences for Latin America.
- Mission: Archivos de Neurociencias will published relevant and impactful original research, reviews, editorials and clinical cases to improve the patient care in the different fields of the clinical Neurosciences: Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry.
Archivos de Neurociencias (Archives of Neuroscience) is an Open Access Journal that publishes its content under the license “Creative Commons CC-BY 4.0" without any fee for processing, editing or publication.The Journal is edited and sponsored by the National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery Manuel Velasco Suarez in Mexico.
Archivos de Neurociencias (Archives of Neuroscience) follows the general principles established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE)(www.icmje.org) and its indications by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (https://publicationethics.org/).
